Forty years of building what didn't exist yet

I wrote my first code on a ZX81 at around eleven, and was soon coding games for friends because, in pre-internet Bordeaux, the games we wanted didn’t exist on the shelves. Forty years later, the instinct is the same. Along the way I pioneered 360° imaging in France, built cameras and software from scratch, filed patents, founded companies in Bordeaux and Dubai, and worked on projects from nuclear power plants to the Ariane 5 launch pad.

This site is the story of that journey: the projects, the inventions and the people I met along the way.
